Agreement Allows Tech Data to Distribute Celestix One Secured By Check Point" Security Appliances

FREMONT, CA- (October 8, 2002) Celestix Networks, Inc., the premier developer of ready to deploy Linux-based server appliances, and Tech Data Corporation today announced an agreement by which Tech Data will distribute the Celestix One line of Secured By Check Point" security appliances. The agreement will allow resellers to source Celestix One Security Appliances directly from Tech Data (NASDAQ: TECD), a leading worldwide provider of technology products and logistic management services. Additionally, through an already existing relationship, resellers are able to procure Check Point Software Technologies market-leading VPN-1®/FireWall-1® software along with security software licensing directly from Tech Data.

The Celestix One FV" series of security appliances are designed to bring enterprise-class Internet security to small and medium sized offices, as well as remote and branch offices of distributed enterprises.
