AOT Public Safety Corporation Announces CryWolf(TM) False Alarm Management Software Implementation for Greater Sudbury, Ontario
AOT Public Safety Corporation announces the successful implementation and integration of CryWolf(TM) to reduce the amount of false alarms in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
WALDORF, MD--Oct. 10, 2002--AOT Public Safety Corporation announces today the successful implementation of their leading false alarm tracking and billing software, CryWolf(TM), in the City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
The City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario, has a population 160,000 and Police Services plans to go live with CryWolf(TM) in January 2003, with the system already being integrated with their Intergraph CAD system. The system is intended to make more efficient use of law enforcement time and resources, produce fee and fine revenue, and most importantly, reduce false alarms.
"Professionalism and commitment are the two words that come to mind from the initial demonstration of the program, to the complete installation of the software," said Richard Daypuk, Alarm Program Coordinator for the City of Greater Sudbury Police Services. The training we received was complete and demonstrated just how user friendly this product is to use. The flexibility of the program allows us to change letters, fees or several other options with ease and on our own. I have and would recommend this product to any Service looking at implementing a False Alarm Reduction Program."
With more electronic alarm systems being installed each year, an increasing burden is placed on law enforcement agencies. One of the major problems with these systems is the number of false alarms generated -- as much as 99% are false. When officers respond to an alarm, valuable time and money is wasted. CryWolf(TM) is the solution to greatly reduce false alarms and allows for agencies to enforce ordinance and generate additional revenue. The software is an easy to install, user-friendly, and fully customizable commercial-off-the-shelf product. Having CryWolf(TM) implemented greatly reduces the time and effort to process alarm calls, produces fee and fine revenue, and reduces overall response cost. AOT Public Safety Corporation provides outstanding support, not matter where the location. As one customer stated, Customer Service has been great. Even though technical support is out of state, our phone calls have been returned promptly and our questions answered with the utmost courtesy and professionalism." CryWolf(TM) is the total false alarm tracking and billing solution.
