Odyssey Learning Systems welcomes first Nautikos site in China.

Odyssey Learning Systems is pleased to announce the establishment of its first site in China. The Cambridge International Institute is a brand new, privately funded, Kindergarten to Secondary School located in the Bao'an District in the Guangdong Province of Southern Mainland China. Utilizing Odyssey's multilingual, multimode Nautikos learning and content management platform, the school is now delivering Canadian credit courses via LAN and the Internet to its international student population, who come from as far as Korea to experience the school's unique blend of innovative educational approaches and advanced international courses.

As senior grades are added over the next two years, this self contained campus will offer 1500 students a blend of the best of Chinese and Western teaching styles, superior science and language labs, a full arts and sports program, modern dorms and access to overseas credit courses.
Since the majority of the staff in the school speak no English, Graham Chamberlain, Odyssey's Director of Marketing and Implementation, installed Nautikos on the school's computers to operate fully in Chinese. Teaching and Content Development training was also provided, equipping staff with the ability to move beyond offering the Math and English courses loaded into their initial database and develop individualized local programs to meet the needs of its learners.
