MDwebNews uses Brainshark To Deliver Medical Education Rich-Media Communications Solution Enables Convenient Access to Experts.

MDwebNews has deployed the Brainshark Communications Platform to create and deliver high-quality, educational medical presentations on the MDLive.net web site for use by medical professionals. Site visitors can see and hear medical presentations delivered from the presenting doctor in his or her own voice.

Brainshark, Inc., the leader in rich-media web communications, today announced that MDwebNews, a company created by physicians for physicians to provide medical education, has deployed their MDLive.net web site using Brainshark to deliver on-demand educational content. The goal of the site is to provide high-quality, current, and freely available education to residency programs and private practices. MDwebNews uses the Brainshark Communications Platform to create and deliver education in rich-media format, so that site visitors can see and hear medical presentations at any time, delivered directly from the presenting doctor in his or her own voice.

Previously, the company used very manual methods to capture and create online presentations. Using the Brainshark Communications Platform has allowed MDWebNews to create and launch a library of rich-media content, and provides them with valuable tracking information that is tied to their business goals.

The utilization of Brainshark has allowed us to dramatically expand our audience base, and has provided us with detailed metrics of this positive change. Specifically, we have immediate access to information about our site visitors, their medical specialties and affiliations, and which components of the presentations are of maximal importance to them." said Christopher Zachary, MD, Founder and President of MDwebNews. Our sponsors are happy because we can provide accurate viewing figures, supporting their return on investment, and the doctors who deliver the expert presentations are thrilled because they are able to share their knowledge globally and have a high impact on their audience using rich media."

MDwebNews has experienced month-over-month growth in the numbers of viewers of the educational content and expects to expand the breadth of their current topic offerings.
