THROW RAG NEW FALL TOUR DATES SUPPORTING THE DAMNED

THROW RAG (www.throwrag.com) have added 12 new shows to their Fall schedule, including additional dates supporting The Damned and one show supporting comic Jim Breuers Lighten Up Tour (Comedy Central). This Salton Sea, CA band are known for being both the creators and leaders of music they call "Sailor Rock" as well as for their rock-and-roll-carny-from-hell live performances. Unless you've heard their Tee-Tot CD and seen this band live, you're probably missing what West Coast fans, press, and new followers from their recent Southwest Tour are buzzing about: that THROW RAG is the most dangerous and exciting band to crawl out of North America's trailer trash desert and Southern California's hardcore music scene in a long time. Flipside raved: Their music hypnotizes me. When they play I fee like Im witnessing greatness. They are the Rolling Stones of my generation. I predict they are going to be huge."

The band creates a smarmy world where the devil's voice whispers from behind both shoulders and the only angel in sight got the D.T.'s long ago." ~ The Stranger/Seattle, WA

With their first CD Tee-Tot breaking on college radio, and heavy interest in their forthcoming second release 2nd Place, THROW RAG is one of the few bands touring this fall worth catching. No one else has taken hardcore/punk and voodoo rock and roll into the murderous delirium of dark, American roots-folk before. This is not on of those garage band we're already so tired of... musically or in the myth and fun surrounding their shows. THROW RAG is the raging and seductive part of the American rock nightmare. Reviews like the one on DallasMusic.com (...nearly indefinable, awesome ...THROW RAGs music lies somewhere in the dark nether-regions where none have gone before. Theyre polyester-wearin-bad-shades-abusin-swamp-booginn-greasy-surfrockin-cowpunk-loungey... rock stars... I promise its cool."), will turn their name into a household word before long.
