Official weigh-in of the 2002 Ironheart Crown Tribulation, Mixed Martial Arts Fighting Champions get ready for their full contact fights.

October 21, 2002 - The official weigh-in of 2002 Ironheart Crown Tribulation will take place this Friday, October 25th, at 7:30pm at the Ramada Inn in Hammond Indiana. The 2002 Ironheart Crown Tribulation will be held the following evening Saturday, October 26th, at 8:30pm at the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond Indiana (doors open at 6:30pm). The main event for this Mixed Martial Arts Event will feature 2X Ironheart Crown Welterweight Champion, Jay Buck (12W -- 3L) against Internationally acclaimed Shonie Hurricane" Carter (59W- 6L) in a bout scheduled for 3 rounds. This bout is anticipated to be the match-up of youth versus experience!

In preview of the Ironheart Crown Tribulation bouts, extreme sports fans will be attentively watching the long awaited fights between Vaughan Palelei (24W -- 2L) and Jason Godsey (40W -- 12L) as well as Jim Theobald (86W -- 11L) and Stephan Bonnar (5W-OL). Palelei is the returning 2X I.H.C. Heavyweight Champion and will be defending his I.H.C. title against U.F.C. Veteran Godsey. Theobald is the returning 2X I.H.C. Light Heavyweight Champion defending his title against an undefeated Carlson Gracie prodigy (Bonnar) ready to step up and stake his claim for the belt.

This Mixed Martial Arts Event will also be the occasion for extreme sports fans to get reacquainted with talented extreme sports and fighting athletes such as, MUNDIAL World Jiu-Jitsu Champion Helio Soneca" Moreira, Gracie Worlds Gold Medalist Jeff Curran (16W-4L), Former Extreme Challenge Champion Brian Gassaway (21W -- 8L), and Silverback Classic Middleweight Champion Jason Rigsby (8W- 3L) and many more.

In all, there are 10 full-contact submission matches scheduled. There are six Ironheart Crown titles on the line! Plus: Four Under-card bouts featuring top local talent such as Gideon Ray, Justin Weiman, Tommy Lee, Cedric Stewart, Mikhail Rash and Steve Rivera.
