Natasha Usher, an Atlanta resident and Mercer University graduate, wrote the novel after beating all odds and pulling off a fairy tale wedding after meeting her prince through Yahoos online dating service. She is the winner of the 1988 Dr. Sandra L. Cuni Award for Creative Writing and a member of the Georgia Writers Association.
