"DESTINY" a sketch performer and writer on the live syndicated comedy show "Hot Tamales Live!" seeks a buck from all visitors to her site; convinced that this will change her life. In return, she offers a personal look into a struggling actor's life, access to her modeling photos, headshots and actors reel.

"Pursuing my lifelong dream has cost me big time", states the self proclaimed "Nuyorican" actress, who relocated 3,000 miles from New York to Los Angeles. The cost of moving cross country and a long string of financial bad luck was the motivation to create her website.

"What makes me different from every other starving actor in Hollywood? I had the nerve to put up a website that asks total strangers to send me a buck" laughs Destiny. "I'm sure people are thinking 'why should I give her a buck?' I say why not, it's just a buck and it feels great to help others. I'm trying to pay off my debt and pursue my dream anyway I can. You can't blame a girl for trying!"

Destiny is quick to point out the highlights of her site. "My site was completely created and hosted by donations. I have not spent a dime on publicity! I use my own headshots, comp cards and actors reel to raise money. I post a weekly update, "The Destiny Diaries", to keep visitors abreast of my career and my life as a struggling actor in L.A. I hold a weekly "Shout Out" where the most generous donor gets a special mention on the website. All others receive a personal handwritten thank-you note."
