Rikki Lee Travolta Responds to Published Rumors he is a CGI Creation of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg

From the NY POST to Asian press, a rumor has been reported that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have used digital technology to create a Computer Graphics Imaging (CGI) movie star named Rikki Lee Travolta. Rikki Lee Travolta, a real actor and best selling recording artist preparing to work on a movie directed by Michael Dorn, responds to the gossip in a live press conference.

At the press conference, the clearly live Travolta stated, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are visionaries in the entertainment world, but we have all gone on record that they did not envision me. I am an actor. I am a human being. I am more than an image, and that image is not computer generated.

From what Im told, this rather absurd rumor is a product of the Internet. One problem with the anonymity that the Internet allows is that it allows untruths to be widely circulated as facts, and leaves the victims little or no recourse. Im just thankful that in the grand scope of things, this is pretty amusing and trivial when compared to some of the hateful and slanderous things in the world.

I find it ironic that for the past several months I have been dealing with the legal and financial headaches of identity theft, other people having obtained and misused identification and credit cards in my name. Now here I am on the other side of the coin. Instead of trying to prove that other people are not me, I get to prove that Im not a computer-generated image. Ill never complain that my life isnt eventful."
