This Christmas Save The Trees! Home-based Business Brings Alternative Wrapping Solutions To Christmas Shoppers Worldwide…

Local work-at-home mother offers reusable fabric gift bags in effort to save resources during the holidays.

Environmentally conscious business owner, Wendy Oldenbrook, of Wendys Gift Bags (http://wendysgiftbags.com), was fed up with the piles of wasted trees (and money), sitting on her living room floor one Christmas. So disgusted, in fact, that she decided to do something about it. She began making affordable fabric gift bags, as an alternative to using wrapping paper.

Every environmentalist knows trees literally save our environment. They provide oxidation, which means better air quality, they help reduce erosion in our lands and hills, and finally they improve our drinking water. Yet, Americans continue to cut them down at an alarming rate," says Oldenbrook. But, do you know that if we each used only three fabric gift bags, we could save enough trees to cover 45,000 football fields?"

I believe that we should each do our own part to save the environment," she goes on to say. But with our busy and hectic lifestyles, we often dont have or cant find the time for yet another ‘project. That is why I am strongly urging every Christmas shopper to do one simple environmental act this year… an act that can literally save hundreds, if not thousands of trees, as well as reduce our landfills. Buy fabric gift bags!"

Alyice Edrich, editor of The Dabbling Mum.com (http://thedabblingmum.com) says, Nearly eleven years ago, I was so fed up with the pile of wrapping paper on our living room floor that my husband and I asked ‘Santa to not wrap his presents. But we never found an appropriate or affordable alternative to wrapping gifts for family and friends; until now."

It has now been four years since I began making fabric bags," Oldenbrook adds. And its been wonderful to see so many of those same bags returning to my home, with gifts in them, from family and friends."

My company also donates part of our proceeds to a good cause," she asserts. For every bag we sell, we donate five cents to the ‘Feed Adams County Project where produce is organically grown for the local WIC program. And finally, we give back to our community, by hiring local women who want to work from home."

Wendys Fabric Gift Bags may be found on the web, at http://www.wendysgiftbags.com/index.html and offers many environmentally safe alternatives to wrapping and gift shopping! Where home-sewn fabric gift bags, satin wine bags and business card bags are sold at an affordable price.
