In “Anatomy Of A Life Possessed”, Maria Ferrara the author, is held hostage by Father G. who has visions of the Lady of Fatima entreating him to build a church to honor the rosary, coincidently in the same place where he has decided to immortalize his memory. He cruelly blackmailed his followers for donations and even threatened death to those resisting him.

In Ferrara’s case the threat of her husband’s death allowed Father G. to turn her body into a "container" . for holding the illnesses of others giving the illusion of a miracle to help qualify him as a saint. All for his glory, he controlled her emotional and physical energy, forcing her into a bizarre "spiritual sexuality" Her perverse odyssey of possession even unable her to control her own body functions.

This same quest for glorification caused the death of a child as reported on CNN when a fanatical congregation that only uses prayers denied the child medical attention.

The author invites to recognize the generosity, genius and greatness of all humanity, all of which she believes were distorted and suppressed by the superstitions and turn to a self-sacrifice thus diminishing the real value of humanity.

Ferrara suggest creating a nonprofit organization to protect innocent children,

when spiritual leaders possessed us for his own cause by reducing as to killers

of non-believers or as to a container to be fill with his believes.
