Fiorano and Softwired team to provide a wireless data services integration platform

The development community is now offered a compelling solution, from the best standards based wireless and JMS integration platform providers. This combined solution enables the extension of any backend service into the mobile world bringing to market a combination not met by any other vendor.

LOS GATOS, CA. Fiorano and Softwired, leading providers of open-standard messaging technologies, today announced an alliance bundling each other's software. This enables enterprises to benefit from industry's best standards based JMS Services Integration Platform and carrier grade Mobile Data solution for connectivity from the enterprise to any mobile device.

Softwired's iBus//Mobile supports the development of mobile solutions that make business applications accessible on a wide variety of mobile/cellular networks. iBus//Mobile offers true mobile connectivity, with support for disconnected operation and integration with most common carrier technologies.

Fiorano's Tifosi is a distributed Services Integration Platform, that simplifies the composition, deployment, modification and debugging of business processes. Unlike solutions patched together with several point-products, Tifosi is a fully distributed, peer-to-peer platform with a layered architecture comprising Tifosi Peer Servers communicating via a standards-based Java Messaging (JMS) API.

"Fiorano's and Softwired's joint solution is an excellent example of the next generation of mobile Internet applications. These applications are poised for rapid adoption in the market," said Atul Saini, President and CEO of Fiorano." Tying mobile applications into an overall technology infrastructure has been simplified for companies through relationships such as the one formed between Fiorano and Softwired."

"Combining a leading services integration platform such as Tifosi with iBus//Mobile provides developers with an extremely powerful solution for integrating back end (including web) services and making these services available to any mobile device on any network" says Dr. Henry Wild, Softwired's CEO. "I believe this combination will challenge large incumbents in this space based on price, performance and ease of deployment".
