Q: Ive always used my fingers to apply my True Concealer - should I be using a concealer brush instead?
A: Alison Raffaele, creator of Skin Alison Raffaele cosmetics, offers the following advice:
Not necessarily. I never tell anyone, 'you must do this, you must use that because every face is different, and what works for one person does not necessarily work for everyone else. I introduced my Concealer Brush Duo to give women the option of applying their True Concealer and/or Reality Base with not one, but two brushes specifically designed for the purpose. The Large Concealer Brush is great for applying/blending a bit more foundation to areas which need extra coverage, such as around the nose and between the eyebrows, and to apply/blend concealer under the entire eye area. A nice touch is the brush head is just the right size to dip directly into the Reality Base bottle. The Small Concealer Brush is meant for concentrating coverage on much smaller areas, such as blemishes, veins, the inner corners of the eyes, and directly on the dark circles under the eye. Both brushes are made with the highest quality takelon brushes for softness and durability, and have 'travel-friendly sized handles.
In addition, concealer brushes are especially handy for women who have fine lines around the eyes, because using a brush allows you to apply and blend the coverage without pushing the product into your lines."
