Classic Woolens Doubles Product Line this Season and Expands into Larger Shows

ClassicWoolens.com, an online shopping boutique for hats, scarves and handbags, has re-designed its web site and expanded its participation in craft shows to showcase three brand new items for the 2002 season.

According to Jane Peplow, owner and product designer for Classic Woolens, the state of the economy is not holding her back this year! Shes not only expanded her product line 100%, but shes showcasing her items in Chicago area craft shows and has re-vamped her web site for easier ordering.

The expanded product offerings are the biggest change this season for Classic Woolens. In addition to our original and extremely popular line of wool felted hats and the acrylic hats and scarves introduced last year, we now have two new luxurious lines of mohair hats and scarves. Weve added several new wool scarves as well as a line of hand bags that are hand knit and felted much the same way as our original felt wool hats" said the owner.

We expect the new web site to account for many of the new sales this year" says Mrs. Peplow. Classic Woolens began accepting credit cards through its secure transaction gateway last year and saw sales jump as a result. Changes this year involved showcasing all of the new items with quality photographs and making the shopping process easier.

Another portion of our expected growth will be due to our expanded target market. Although the web site reaches world wide, our attendance at local shows has been restricted to the Peoria area. That is, until this year! We are now offering our product line at shows in the Chicago area as well as in Champaign and Galva."

Now it its fifth season, Classic Woolens has been in business since 1998 and has shown steady growth, doubling in size each year.
