Pacific Wind Ensemble to perform Late Romantic Serenades of Strauss and Dvorak

San Francisco, CA -: In its second of four concerts during the 2002-2003 season, the Pacific Wind Ensemble will perform three masterpieces of the late romantic wind repertoire. The program will include the Suite in B-flat and Serenade in E-flat by Richard Strauss and the Serenade in d-minor by Antonin Dvorak. The concert is on Sunday, November 17, 2002 at 8:00pm at the San Francisco Community Center (544 Capp Street, San Francisco), There is no admission charge, however, donations will be accepted.
The Pacific Wind Ensemble performs the finest chamber music written for wind instruments. Founded in 1992, the Pacific Wind Ensemble presents four concerts a season, performing in San Francisco and at different venues across the Bay Area. Musicians are selected by invitation only and are comprised of talented Bay Area musicians, both professional and amateur, who volunteer their time performing.
