RED NECKS in Love
by Charles Napier and Buck Flower
Red necks are universal. So say Charles Napier and Buck Flower. How could two respected Hollywood actors brazenly proclaim such a statement? Easy. Both Mr. Napier and Mr. Flower grew up in rural America. Although they grew up in different areas, the hillbilly enviroments were alomst mirror images of one another. Twenty-five years ago, they met and discovered the universality of red necks.
Charlie and Buck take the reader down unpaved roads of red neck humor that even Jeff Foxworthy would fear to tread. Rodney Van Aukin is a fastidious young Law School graduate from Boston. He is sent to a rural and extremely remote area called the Owens Valley that very few in America know. Our urban bred Hero has always been accustomed to almost everything including cell phones. These natural feelings of trepidation transcend into blatant terror when he arrives in the land of the Red neck. Almost immediately, he finds himself being chased from a high desert ghost town by ruffians armed with chainsaws. He finally falls in with two middle-aged brothers named Trux and Farley Maynard. A couple of good ole boys" with a penchant for securing sexual favors from overweight and older women. The Mayards have a pet alcoholic pig named Barney. Insanity increases and the story continues. So will the reader's laughter.
RED NECKS in Love is filled with insightful humor into the stereotypical red neck world. As the reader follows Charlie and Buck into a world populated with larger-than-life characters, pet pigs, motor homes and down-home fun, they may recapture some of the simpler pleasures in life.
RED NECKS in Love is a satirical romp that points out the hypocrisy of the elite class. RED NECKS in Love is sure to bring humor and joy to readers across America. Jeff Foxworthy success with red neck humor shows that Americans are interested in back-woods humor. The book has the power of name recognition behind it and would easily make a successfull comedy film. I hope this announcement has piqued your interest in RED NECKS in Love. Truly, the only way to fully appreciate and experience RED NECKS in Love is to kick off your shoes and spend an afternoon laughing along with the book. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about this dynamic book.
