College Program in Cannes, France
The Film Program at the Collége International de Cannes
first semester begins January of 2003.
The Film Program Cannes new professional producing/screenwriting film program is project-driven to allow film industry professionals to increase their competence and their competitiveness in the international market.
The Film Program seeks an internationally diverse incoming class of 40 students. Candidates will come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from professional film or broadcasting, to creative writing, theater, film school or other media experience.
The courses combine discussion, lecture, panel discussions from guest speakers and hands-on assignments which include practical exercises in budgets, schedules, contracts, and writing story coverage, etc. Students may wish to bring a written treatment or full length screenplay to be used in conjunction with one or more of the courses.
Visiting guest lecturers, panel discussions, screenings and industry demonstrations will be in the College's new 140 seat digital theater.
All the Film Program classes will be taught in English.
