Summit to Spotlight Impact of Digital Technology on Film and Television
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24, 2002 -- iHollywood Forum, Inc. today announced that Scott Ross, CEO and Founder of Digital Domain, and Mark Cuban, Founder and CEO of HDNet and owner of the Dallas Mavericks will keynote The Digital Studio," an executive summit and showcase that will focus on how digital technology is transforming Hollywood, film and television. The one-day summit will take place on Nov. 4, 2002 from 9 am to 8 pm at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel in West Hollywood.
Featuring three tracks of panel discussions and presentations, an independent filmmakers workshop, and an exhibitor and demo showcase, the event will bring together a wide range of entertainment industry professionals from studio executives to financial analysts who will hear from the leaders and pioneers in digital technology. Attendees will consider how to best incorporate digital technology into the creative and production process while keeping costs reasonable. Topics to be covered include visual effects; animation, high-definition filmmaking and television, digital cinema, digital storyboards, production and post-production; DVD home video, HDTV and satellite distribution.
