'Shop 'Til You Drop' Day in Baltimore -- Spectacular Unity Crafts & Business Showcase Arrives in Baltimore

On Saturday, November 9, 2002, the Women's Consciousness Raising Association (WCRA) a national women's business advocacy organization, sponsors a Unity Crafts & Business Showcase, at the 5th Regiment Armory in Baltimore, MD. Over 200 regional talented artisans and entrepreneurs will display their wares before an appreciative hometown audience. It's the 'Shop 'Til You Drop' Day in Baltimore.

SPECTACULAR UNITY CRAFTS AND BUSINESS SHOWCASE ARRIVES IN BALTIMORE
Baltimore's 'Shop 'Til You Drop' Day

Randallstown, MD --- On Saturday, November 9, 2002, the Unity Crafts and Business Showcase will arive at the 5th Regiment Armory, Bolton and Hilton Streets, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Womens Consciousness Raising Association (WCRA) sponsors this spectacular showcase of artisans, crafts and business. WCRA is a 28-year-old, national nonprofit women's business advocacy organization headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Featuring more than 200 regional and local artisans and entrepreneurs, the festival is an opportunity for talented artists to showcase their wares before an appreciative hometown audience.

Maryland State Delegate Ruth Kirk, festival honorary chairperson, states, I wholeheartedly support this worthwhile effort to promote the arts and businesses throughout our community. The Womens Consciousness Raising Association has worked diligently throughout the years to raise the communitys conscious about the arts, business, and personal and professional relationships. This event will give artisans and entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their talents before the holiday giving season, and introduce new crafts to an appreciative audience."

WCRA Executive Director, Dr. Elaine Simon, stated, Many talented artists and new businesses need a breakout opportunity. This showcase is within the realm of our mission to educate and expose our members and the community to interesting old and new crafts and businesses and their history and beauty."
