San Francisco Gravity Festival and 2002 IGSA / WWSC National Championships Co-Sponsored by Slide4Less.com

On Saturday, November 9th, and Sunday November 10th, 2002, atop the hills of San Francisco, the nations top extreme athletes will be competing in the 2002 IGSA / WWSC National Championships, held during the San Francisco Gravity Festival.

San Francisco, California, October 28, 2002 -On Saturday, November 9th, and Sunday November 10th, 2002, atop the hills of San Francisco, the nations top extreme athletes will be competing in the 2002 IGSA / WWSC National Championships, held during the San Francisco Gravity Festival. The San Francisco 2002 Gravity Festival is Brought to you by Slide4Less.com in cooperation with the International Sports Gravity Association. Sanctioned race events include; Pro Downhill Inline skating, Pro Downhill skateboard, Pro Street Luge, Pro classic Luge, Pro Stock Gravity Bike, Pro ¾ Fairing Gravity Bike, and a non-sanctioned Excate Powerboard Exhibition Race, featuring several of the most powerful electric skateboards in the world. The races will be held on a ½ mile closed course, originally scouted for the X-Games, located on John F. Shelley Drive in Mclaren Park, San Francisco, California. Qualifying begins 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 9th, with racing beginning Sunday, November 10th, at 9:00 am.

The International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA), founded in 1996, is the primary sanctioning body for events including downhill inline skating, street luge, downhill skateboarding, and gravity biking.
