Film Venture is now seeking independent Filmmakers for funding and mentoring. Unique opportunity for established and aspiring screenwriters, directors and producers to get financed.

The next generation of filmmakers are a hybrid group of digital artists, writers and independent visionaries that tend to work outside the "Hollywood" studio system. They are the "entrepreneurs of entertainment". They are writers, producers, directors -- working both above and below the line -- they are a crew of one. They work cheap, they need to, in order to preserve their artistic vision.

FilmVenture acts as a catalyst, an enabler of creative souls. We expedite the process of the independent film craft by allowing the filmmaker to concentrate on their film and not merely on their daily existence. Investment Opportunities through FilmVenture offer both individual investors and corporate sponsors unprecedented exposure to independent film audiences. Opportunities include direct capital investment, product placement & marketing partnerships.

FilmVenture is slated to produce 12 - 14 features per year starting in 2003 with a budget cap of $750,000.00 per feature. We will enforce this budget cap and require certain restrictions be placed upon each filmmaker with regards to equipment, cast and crew. There will, however, be very little restriction on their script or artistic vision.
