SCHWING STETTER INKS PACT WITH M-TEC MATHIS, GERMANY
Schwing Stetter India to market the entire range of Mtec Products and Services in South Asia
New Delhi... Schwing Stetter India Private Limited, a
100% subsidiary of the German based DM 1 billion Schwing Group of Companies, announced a strategic marketing & manufacturing tie-up with M-tec Mathis Technik Gmbh, part of the 70 million Euro Maxit Group, Germany, today. With this deal Schwing Stetter India will make available the entire M-Tec expertise, which includes marketing and manufacturing of M-Tecs range of products, after sales support and identifying turnkey projects for M-Tec in South Asia.
This tie-up also makes Schwing Stetter India the exclusive dealer of M-Tecs Dry Motor Technology & Equipment in the region. This includes products such as dry motor plants, plastering machines, machines for pumping cement motor and the complete know-how on the dry mortar industry, in South Asia.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Mr. Anand Sundaresan, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter India, said, Schwing Stetter has always believed in bringing state of the art technology to our customers. With this tie-up, M-Tec has empowered us to build a new market and provide our clients with an extensive range of products." ABOUT SCHWING STETTER
Schwing Stetter India (SSI) is a part of the DM 1 billion-turnover Schwing Stetter, GmbH, the German ready mix concrete (RMC) machinery manufacturer. Schwing Stetter (India) started operations in 1998 in Chennai. They started their production with the cement mixing plants and cement laying pumps, used in the construction industry.
SSI has rolled out 700 truck mixers, over 200 concrete pumps and 50 RMC batching plants. The company, which used to import the huge mixer drums from Germany, is now importing only the high-grade steel plates and the product is completed in Chennai. Meanwhile with demand for its machinery growing at a fast pace, Schwing Stetter in order to keep up with the demand has set up a greenfield project at an outlay of Rs.18 crore at Irungattukottai, near Chennai.
