ResumeDirector establishes partnership with Professional Résumé Writing and Research Association (PRWRA)

Response to growing demand for more comprehensive job search services

NEW YORK, NY, October 31, 2002 -- As corporate layoffs continue and unemployed professionals continue to demand more comprehensive tools and services to find new positions, a new opportunity for résumé writers has arisen. ResumeDirector, provider of an innovative service that allows job seekers to enter a résumé once and have it automatically posted on over 75 job sites, has established a partnership with the Professional Résumé Writing and Research Association, the leading professional association for the résumé writing industry.

The partnership program provides résumé writers with an opportunity to increase their revenue by referring customers to the automated résumé posting service. Résumé writing entrepreneurs are assigned unique promotional codes which their customers and prospects can then use on ResumeDirectors service (at www.resumedirector.com). By using the codes, customers can obtain a 10% discount off the regular $59.95 fee. At the same time, the code signals ResumeDirectors service to credit the résumé writing firms account for $15 for each customer that signs up. As an exclusive benefit to PRWRA, resume writer members of the association are given an opportunity to earn a Palm Zire personal digital assistant (PDA) by referring their customers to ResumeDirector.

Scott Brown, president of ResumeDirector, said, Were pleased to launch this new program for the résumé writing industry. After discussing our plans with veteran résumé writers, were confident this is a great opportunity for those in the résumé writing business." Laurie Roy, president of PRWRA said, We realize that job seekers look to résumé writers as an authority in the field. After obtaining a winning résumé, they need to be taken to the next step with a service like this to get in front of recruiters."

Signing up to become a résumé writing affiliate of ResumeDirector is a simple process that can be done in minutes by visiting the site at www.resumedirector.com and clicking on affiliates." Although results with the program will vary based on the number of customers and prospects résumé writers tell about the service, Brown predicted that résumé writers could make several hundred to a couple thousand dollars per month" in additional revenue without increasing their workload at all. He added, Were encouraging résumé writers to sign up, get their promotional code, and just start giving it out to their customers and including it in their newsletters. It takes virtually no effort and the payoff can be substantial."
