First Scala Connectivity Implementation in China Goes Live
OA365.com automates transactions, gaining visibility and control
29 October 2002: Scala Business Solutions has successfully automated OA365.coms private exchange, bringing about fast and efficient e-commerce. Both internal staff and external customers are now part of an online community that can view information according to access rights and monitor the progress of orders at this Shanghai-based online office equipment supplier.
E-commerce is a fast growing industry here and we needed an integrated, effective, high performance system to satisfy our business requirements," says Mr. Jin ZhiGuo, General Manager at OA356. Scalas software has enabled us to monitor and streamline all business processes, and provides us with the scalability for future development at the same time as achieving our current targets."
OA 365 uses Scalas financial and logistics processes as well as stock control, statistics and batch traceability. Scala's effective implementation was of particular benefit, allowing the company to provide a quality service to its customers within a relatively short time-frame.
Scala's solutions have simplified our business processes, made us work more professionally, and improved our operational strength, as well as saved costs," continues Mr. Jin ZhiGuo. We have enjoyed Scala's strong technical support since the very beginning of the system implementation and now Scalas system is a solid base for our future development."
OA365 first started using Scala to support the business in April this year and recently added connectivity functionality. Through the connectivity solutions, customers and employees are now part of an online community that can easily view operational status such as stock levels, sales, orders, and deliveries, all of which have been significantly improved since OA365 first started to use the Scala system earlier this year.
Collaborative tools are instrumental in connecting to, and integrating with, internal and external systems," says Kevin Hurley, Vice President Operations for Scalas Asia Pacific region. The improved management controls and data transparency throughout the logistic chain that Scalas software brings are enabling our customers to gain greater efficiencies throughout the business, meeting the requirements of operating at high speed. Customers all over the world, such as OA365, continue to tell us that we provide them with the products they need to be competitive globally and locally."
