SGM Advertising, Norwell, MA, is pleased to announce the election of Betty Georgaklis as President. Georgaklis was nominated and elected by SGMs Board of Directors to lead the organization into international markets and diversified services.

Georgaklis, a lifelong resident of Quincy, MA, served as the Executive Vice President/Treasurer at SGM Advertising before being selected by the companys Board of Directors as the new President. CEO and Chairman Robert H. Brandt noted, Betty knows the very pulse of this industry, our clients and our mission: to provide creative ideas and bring them to life. She is the ideal person to maintain and expand our level of service and vision."

Georgaklis business and finance education also included attending John Robert Powers School where she eventually taught for five years. A patron of the Museum of Fine Arts, Georgaklis most recently worked with the museum on promotional materials for Art in Bloom, 2001" and is a Visitor to the Textile and Fashion Arts. She serves on the building committee for St. Catherines church in Quincy, in the fund raising for the new church in Braintree, MA, Georgaklis is very active in the Greek community and has worked as an advertising partner to Anatolia College in Thessaloniki, Greece and College Year in Athens, Athens, Greece.
