Thunder Aviation Expands; Adds Falcon 50 to Repair Station Certificate
The FAA has approved Thunder Aviation's request to add the limited rating of Dassault Aviation's Falcon 50 to Thunder Services' Repair Station Operations Specification, effective October 16, 2002. This means that Thunder Aviation now has the capability to perform maintenance and repair work on Falcon 50 jets.
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - October 24, 2002 - The FAA has approved Thunder Aviation's request to add the limited rating of Dassault Aviation's Falcon 50 to Thunder Services' Repair Station Operations Specification, effective October 16, 2002. Ron Scheer, Director of Operations, made the announcement.
The addition of the Falcon 50 to Thunder Aviation Services' capabilities is a natural progression of our commitment to the Falcon product line and Falcon customers," states Scheer.
Thunder Aviation's technical capabilities now include Falcon 10/100, Falcon 20 all models, and Falcon 50, Citation 500, 525 and 650 series and all Class 3 aircraft manufacturers, in addition to various powerplant, propeller and accessories ratings.
Based at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo., Thunder Aviation is a full service fixed base operator offering an extensive maintenance and avionics program, ranging from prepurchase evaluations and major inspections to heavy maintenance.
