Vivísimo to Help Increase Speed and Productivity for HPs Mission Critical SAP Support Program; Implementation of Vivísimos products helps HP retrieve, organize and present content located in multiple repositories

Hewlett Packard (HP)is licensing Vivisimo's document clustering software to increase customer response efficiency and productivity. HP's use of Vivisimo's software is an innovative application for data and knowledge management in the CRM space. Vivisimo provides advanced document clustering (automatic categorization) and content integration software that significantly improves end-user access to relevant information.

(PRWEB) November 2, 2002 -- Vivísimo, Inc., a global provider of advanced document clustering (automatic categorization) and content integration software, today announced that its products have been licensed for use by HPs Mission Critical SAP Support Program group. The software will empower HP support engineers to provide vital reactive and proactive maintenance to their SAP customers.

Speed of service is of critical importance to our customers. Vivísimos products will allow us to integrate our many information sources, providing a significant increase in our ability to provide expedient customer support to our customers," said Steve Cooke, SAP Support Program Manager, HP Services.

Vivísimo will help HP engineers to quickly and efficiently locate critical information for troubleshooting customers' needs. Vivísimo's Clustering Engine and Integrator products will provide a single user interface to organize ten separate content repositories on-the-fly, helping to increase the SAP support group's productivity. Previously, support engineers had to review large quantities of information by tediously searching each of the 10 information sources separately. In contrast, Vivísimos software will simultaneously query all 10 content sources; relevant information will then be automatically categorized (clustered) into one single screen display, containing a familiar relevancy-ranked list and a hierarchically sorted directory of category folders for efficient browsing.

Information overload is well-recognized as a big problem for corporate productivity, and its not just the sheer quantity of content. Often, information users are confronted with the additional challenge of navigating many separate content sources, looking through long lists one by one to access and find necessary information. Our software handles both problems with no costly setup, or ongoing maintenance," said Raul Valdes-Perez, President, Vivísimo.
