Mark McGraw Chairing Syracuse NYSSCPA Chapter Annual Tax Conference

SYRACUSE, N.Y., October 31, 2002 - Mark E. McGraw, CPA, PFS is serving as Conference Chair for the Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Annual Tax Conference. The Conference is being held at the Wyndham in Syracuse on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

SYRACUSE, N.Y., October 31, 2002 - Mark E. McGraw, CPA, PFS is serving as Conference Chair for the Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Annual Tax Conference. The Conference is being held at the Wyndham in Syracuse on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The conference agenda will feature presentations by attorneys, certified public accountants and financial planners on New York State's Tax Update and Interstate Taxation, Partnership Tax Update, Federal Tax Update, Long-Term Care Insurance, Estate Planning Update, Pension Update and a cocktail hour sponsored by Meridian Group of New York, Inc.

The conference is being sponsored by the Syracuse Chapter of NYSSCPA's Taxation Committee. It is designed for experienced tax practitioners and will count as 8 hours of Continuing Professional Education Credits (CPE) for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). The cost to attend is $150 for members and $250 for nonmembers. All Certified Public Accountants (CPA's) licensed in New York State are required by the New York State Board for Public Accountancy to undergo 120 hours of CPE credits over three years to maintain their license.

Mark E. McGraw, CPA, PFS, is a principal with Fagliarone Group CPAs. He currently practices in the areas of corporate, partnership and individual taxation, as well as estate, gift and trust taxation. He also specializes in financial, retirement and business planning.
