Kmareka.com November 2002 Debut of Literary Subdomain, SAGA CITY
New literary webzine online, Saga City, publishing short stories and small art show in each issue.
Kmareka.com, the nonprofit website with in-depth content on literature, politics, and finance from a social work perspective, announces the publication of its first issue of SAGA CITY, the literary subdomain which publishes new fiction and art. Our debut issue features stories by David Schwartz, author of book, A Jewish Appraisal of Dialogue, Denitza Blagev, New York University Medical student and editor of Agora, Kathryn Kulpa, winner of the Bridport Prize, and Bob Thurber, whose stories have been published in Oasis and other magazines.
SAGA CITY is a place where stories live. We seek to publish stories that tell of events, past, present and future, that might not otherwise be fully recognized. The title of the literary webzine is also a play on the word sagacity -- the quality of being keen in sense perception, discerning, perhaps even wise. We hope our stories will embody a sense of wisdom, and will enlighten and entertain readers around the world today and for years to come.
