More about STAFF:
The STAFF Film Festival is a not for profit organization geared toward helping talented, yet underrepresented artists receive the exposure and recognition that they deserve. The principle of the STAFF Film Festival mirrors that of the progressive organization as a whole: to provide the independent filmmakers with the rare opportunity of having his or her work seen by a large audience. In addition, the festival will feature more than simply cinema; it will be a diverse interactive atmosphere, linking several genres of art to one venue. The festival will not only highlight the work of independent filmmakers, but photographers, painters, and musicians as well. The walls of the venues, for instance, will showcase selected works of fine art and, moreover, STAFF has invited musicians to the venues in order to continue the creative milieu following the screenings. By providing the festival, STAFF is in essence striving to link artists with other artists, as well as with an interested audience all with the hope of creating an artistic community independent of the mainstream. Moreover, by creating the upcoming annual festival, STAFF itself is striving to gain recognition not only in the northeast, but in the national artistic community as well, including the west coast, where the foundation hopes to expand its ambitious festival in the near future. In order to successfully expand its operations, however, word must get out to eager artists worldwide that a creative avenue is emerging for them to showcase their work. In addition to the forthcoming bi-coastal Independent Film Festivals, STAFF also hosts a monthly screening in and around New York City, Liquid Film Box, which showcase rising local artist's visions. Furthermore, STAFF is also soon launching an online magazine, Skeu, which will feature and comment on all aspects of the arts, focusing primarily on the independent artistic community that STAFF is hoping to influence and evolve.

Who?
Artists, professionals, writers, filmmakers, and teachers have come together as a collective group to help expose artists worldwide.
What?
Building on innovation, STAFF seeks artists of film, sculpture, graphics, music, and any other medium, which is overlooked by the mainstream and underexposed to audiences.
Why?
The foundation has been created to give merit and recognition to the struggling artists who are so easily not only left behind, but left in the shadows.
How?
STAFF creates vehicles such as fashion shows, music events and art shows to help promote artists. Currently, STAFF is producing an online magazine - SKEU, a music fundraiser - AMP, an online comprehensive film database - FilmHouse, a film festival that features low-budget independent films, and is in the process of implementing art programs in middle schools and universities, and art programs in underdeveloped areas. STAFF is growing and will expand it's development globally.
