Atheism is not a crime
Where are the ethics of religious followers?
Believe or get out"

Darrell Lambert is the nineteen-year-old who faces expulsion from the Boy Scouts for refusing to believe in God. By refusing to lie in the slightest about his views on religion, this humble young mans code of ethics is stronger than many of those who are judging him unfit.

Freedom of Religion is a constitutional right in this country and no one should be exiled simply because they have another point of view. Besides, being an atheist in no way suggests a person has forsaken spirituality. Religious leader Rael, of the Raelian Movement, has well over 55,000 members worldwide who believe mankind was created by a group of Extra-terrestrials known as the Elohim. These scientists who created us In their Image" are not Gods but human beings like us with thousands of years of scientific advancement over our present day science.

Atheism is on the rise globally, so does this mean all atheists will be turned out of schools, jobs, housing....parenting? This list could go on to infinity and it is absolutely ridiculous. As history has shown us it is not the atheists that have forced their opinions on others, start wars, kill abortion doctors or justify bloodshed (ironically in the name of a god) . There has been infinitely more bloodshed over religion than anything else on the planet. For centuries the Catholic church (like fanatics of any religion still do) would kill anyone that disagreed with their truth". Where is God in this? No where.

Its almost ironic that the atheists live like the prophets taught while many religious followers forget to. Living for today, living ethically and respectful of others beliefs. Not because someone threatened them to or promised them eternal life, but because they know its the right thing to do.

The Boy Scouts is a private organization and has the right to choose its members. They say you must believe in a god (their god, not Islams) and you have to be heterosexual. Sounds an awful lot like Jerry Farwell. The foundation of the US is freedom. Its unfortunate that the majorities forget what it was like to be a minority.
