Princeton, NJ -- New Jersey Congressman Rush Holt sent a message to speakers and attendees of Emerging Information Technology Conference.
New Jersey Congressman Rush Holt wrote a message to speakers and attendees of Emerging Information Technology Conference (EITC 2002), the letter was delivered by Legislative Assistant Dr. Sherrie Preische to the EITC welcome dinner event.
"I applaud each of you for contributing your talent and leadership to our nation's economy. As you come together to look to the future of technology and for professional fellowship, please accept my best wishes. Every aspect of our society is influenced by the growth of technology and the work you do," Congressman Holt said in his letter.
Dr. Sherrie Preische presented Congressman Holt's letter to EITC Conference co-chairs, Dr. Chun-Yen Chang, Professor and President of National Chiao Tung University, and Dr. Sun-Yuan Kung, Professor of Princeton University. Dr. Preische was also greeted by Princeton Township Mayor Phyllis L. Marchand, and West Windsor Township Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh, as well as the EITC speakers and attendees.
The 2002 Emerging Information Technology Conference was held on November 1-2 at Friend Center, Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey. The EITC is held once a year to facilitate information exchange among professionals from the Pacific Rim and North America on emerging information technologies including nanotechnology, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), system-on-chip (SoC), and bioinformatics.
