Biland Challange 2003-2004 - Thailand

SPORTS & TOURISM: The Biland Challenge, a international motor sport event, will be held for the first in time in a South East Asia country, Thailand.

(PRWEB) November 6, 2002 -- Pit Stop International Co., Ltd, Rene Philippe Attorneys & Legal Counselors, and Going Networks are pleased to announce a new partnership, which will take effect on November 10, 2002 to form Biland Challenge Co., Ltd (THAILAND).

This new company represents a unique effort to bring an international Karting Event to Thailand, the Biland Challenge 2003-2004, whose first world-final will be held this year in France, will bring together more than 70 participants and future motor sport stars of 16 different countries in the world. Thomas Luescher, director of Pit Stop International Co., Ltd, the license of the property and Team Biland project for Thailand, enthusiastically commented: it is like a dream for a small company like us to be given a chance to bring to Thailand an important event which could initiate a new era of talented THAI kart drivers, like Prince Bira has been. I do trust that we shall be able to receive a big support from local authorities and the corporate industry so as to find the necessary financial resources to successfully organize the program and all related innovative promotional activities, like our attempt to establish a new world record in non-stop kart driving here in Thailand.

Biland Challenge Co., Ltd has set a budget of 25 Million THB for the organization of the 2 years event which will consequently lead to the bid for the World Final in 2004. It has now started approaching all those major companies in Thailand which trust in sponsorship diversification and intend to support third-tier sports by activating their sponsoring budgets.

Rene Philippe, attorney and legal counselor for the event commented: the professional approach to the event, its organizational structure and detailed legal aspects will allow us to bring and set new standards for the local Karting industry. I believe that the success of the competition will be a milestone in the long term process of trying to bring to Thailand even more important motor sports events".

Biland Challenge 2003-2004 can also be seen an important event to try to attract more quality tourism related activities to Thailand. The country has already potentially good infrastructure to host this alternative source of tourism which, if well exploited, could bring to the country important revenues in cities and destination resorts like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Hua Hin.

Mario Daul, director of sales of Going Networks -- Going Thailand, a new international travel networks with offices in Europe, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand said: as our network is going to support all those tourism products created by the small and medium companies to promote their country in the world, we are naturally keen on supporting this event which is directly in line and follows the recent directive at the new established Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Thailand; Sport to help goal of making Thailand the champions of Asian tourism."
