The Ontario Minor Hockey Association Partners With BladeNET To Provide Enhanced Online Hockey Services
The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and BladeNET have successfully integrated BladeNETs online amateur hockey solution to the OMHA membership through a pilot project with the OMHAs two AAA leagues for the 2002-03 hockey season.
Toronto, ON - October 27, 2002 - The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and BladeNET have successfully integrated BladeNETs online amateur hockey solution to the OMHA membership through a pilot project with the OMHAs two AAA leagues for the 2002-03 hockey season.
Members of the amateur hockey community can now view standings, scores, and schedules online at anytime. BladeNETs robust application provides for immediate updates, so the latest scores, standings, and schedule changes are always available.
The OMHA pilot project of the BladeNET application proves we are providing the right service" said BladeNET founder Robert Fletcher. BladeNETs partnership with the OMHA is part of its ongoing commitment to providing an integrated one-stop solution for the amateur hockey community across Canada.
This seasons pilot program features the Eastern AAA League (AAA) and the South Central AAA League (SCTA). The OMHA and BladeNET are already in the planning stages of expanding the scope of this project to include more OMHA leagues next year.

Formed in 1935, the Ontario Minor Hockey Association is the largest minor hockey association in the world. The OMHA oversees a direct membership base of players (111,400) / coaches (15,782) / trainers (11,865) / referees (6,986), hockey volunteers (9,200) and parents (175,945) totaling 331,178 across the province.
The OMHA has 273 active member minor hockey associations and annually coordinates over 30 leagues at the rep level and approximately 700 development programs and clinics throughout Ontario.
