Boston Mommy Chic store grand opening at The Mall at Chestnut Hill to benefit Brigham and Womens Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
In celebration of the store grand opening, Mommy Chic is hosting a reception and charity auction to benefit Bostons Brigham and Womens Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care unit. Boston-native, Mommy Chic designer, Angela Chew will auction off several ensembles from her collections. Being from Boston, Ive always known that the Brigham and Womens Hospital is well known for its outstanding practice in womens health. I feel proud that we can help women be beautiful and healthy on the inside as well as on the outside. Also, its a great way to give back to this community where I grew up." Wives of the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins are scheduled to be on hand to lend their support along with Angela Menino.

Mommy Chic and Brigham and Womens Hospital have partnered, leveraging the in-store retail traffic to build awareness around the hospitals Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Distributed at over 100 boutiques nationwide, Mommy Chic was founded by the husband-and-wife team Peter and Angela Chew in 1998. The line was born when a frustrated and expecting Mrs. Chew could not find stylish clothing for work. It seemed that there were two choices, said Angela. I could either spend a few hundred dollars for a polyester crepe suite at a major chain or wear oversized shirts with drawstring pants." With those slim options, she began designing her first Mommy Chic collection.
