November 6, 2002 -- Voting begins this week for brandchannel.coms 2002 Readers Choice Brand of the Year. Log on to www.brandchannel.com and vote for the brand you think made its mark in 2002. This is your chance to be heard.
Brandchannel.com defines the brand of the year not as the one that made the most money or has the most value but the one that actually had an impact on our lives-made us stand up and take notice. The Brand of the Year is not necessarily typical; last years nominations included such brands as Al Qaeda, Rudy Giuliani, and New York City. The Global Brand of the Year for 2001 was awarded to Apple.
Brand of the Year voting will last through December 31, 2002, and winners will be announced February 2003. We are encouraging everyone to vote for the brand that had the biggest impact in 2002.
