Agouron Pharmaceuticals, a wholly owned entity of Pfizer Inc. signs PATH/TOX SYSTEM License Agreement

Cedar Knolls, NJ (PRWEB) November 8, 2002 -- Xybion Medical Systems Corporation (Xybion), a developer and supplier of comprehensive Preclinical Data Management Systems, including its industry-leading PATH/TOX SYSTEM, announced today that Agouron Pharmaceuticals, a wholly owned entity of Pfizer Inc. has licensed PATH/TOX SYSTEM Open VMS Version 4.2.2 for collection, management and reporting of data related to its pharmaceutical safety assessment research being conducted at its Global Research and Development, La Jolla California Laboratories. This is the sixth facility for which Pfizer Pharmaceuticals has acquired a PATH/TOX SYSTEM license, having had previous success with the System and its long, positive relationship with Xybion Medical systems.

Pfizer Global Research and Development, La Jolla Laboratories is committed to the discovery, development, and marketing of innovative therapeutic products engineered to inactivate proteins that play key roles in cancer, AIDS, and other diseases.
