Foundation Software Opens Regional Sales Office In LaPorte, IN

National construction accounting software developer opens regional sales office to cover midwest territory.

Midwest demands for construction accounting software prompted software developer Foundation Software to open a regional office based in LaPorte, IN. Direct sales will be supported out of the three-state area of Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin with a focus on the Chicago region. Opening the regional office will promote healthy competition with computer software challengers such as ComputerEase and Maxwell Systems.

Scott Lang, Director of Midwest Operations for Foundation Software, will be responsible for managing this office as well as cultivating growth and future expansion in the Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin territories. Lang has an extensive background in the construction industry; he worked as an account manager for Paragon where he sold Maxwell, American Contractor and FieldCentrix products. Lang also spent time as a software engineer, an office manager and sales manager prior to Paragon.

An opportunity to work directly with and represent the author and developer of software that is on the cutting edge of current technology is what attracted me to Foundation Software," Lang said. My goal is to provide regional construction companies with the benefits of my knowledge of the construction industry as well as through my own personal experiences."

To put the sales effort needed into that area expansion was necessary. Adding regional representatives to this area will continue Foundations direct sales approach and increase exposure in that area."
