DATAHAND ANNOUNCES NEW ERGONOMIC DESKTOP AGREEMENT

DataHand Sytems and Ergoport PTY form alliance for DataHand to manufacture and market Ergoport Ergonomic Desktop in US & Canada.

Phoenix, Arizona -- November 9, 2002. - DataHand Systems, Inc. is proud to announce an alliance with Ergoport Pty Ltd. of Hornsby, Australia. As a result of this association, DataHand has acquired exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights to the Ergoport Ergonomic Desktop for the US and Canada.

The Ergoport has had tremendous success in Australia," said Scott Scartozzi, DataHands President, and with our experience in the ergonomic marketplace Im sure it will be a North American success as well!"

The Ergoport is designed to enable the body to maintain the safest posture while working at a computer terminal. Instead of the body having to adapt to conventional workstation design that causes muscular-skeletal stressing, the Ergoport fills the void between ideal body positioning and the desk.

The Ergoport works in three ways:

1) Armrests provide support for the elbows and forearms reducing muscle strain. The rests also serve to bring the arms in close to the torso allowing shoulders to remain in a relaxed and neutral position, thus significantly reducing the incidence of tension headaches and general muscle soreness.
2) Support of the arms results in reduced compression of the diaphragm, increasing lung capacity and thus increasing oxygen supply to the brain. This helps to decrease error occurrence, decrease headaches related to oxygen deprivation, increase alertness and improve concentration.
3) The keyboard recess decreases the angle of wrist extension. This feature, coupled with the contoured forearm rest, reduces pressure on the medial nerve.

The Ergoport eliminates the need for keyboard, mouse wrist and forearm supports while encouraging correct posture to help eliminate back and neck strain. More information about the Ergoport is available at the DataHand Systems web site: www.datahand.com.

The Ergoport ER1 is an ergonomic desktop that encourages the correct typing posture. It is designed for use by those individuals with a waist size of 50" or less. It supports both left and right hand mouse users

The Ergoport ER3 is an ergonomic desktop that encourages the correct typing posture. It is designed for use by those individuals with a waist size of greater than 50". It supports right hand mouse users only.

Both units are available in three colors, Oyster, Blue or Black and have a retail price of $229.
