ESE, Inc. aquires label division of PAUSE Entertainment

ESE, Inc. , a entertainment investment firm has aquired PAUSE Records, the record label division of PAUSE Entertainment, www.pausenetwork.com The artists previously signed to PAUSE will now be released on ESE,Inc's new label, Volume Recording, LLC.

PAUSE Records Roster acquired by ESE, Inc.... "PUMP UP THE VOLUME!!!!!"

PAUSE Entertainment proudly announces that PAUSE Records will be acquired by ESE, Inc. a 12 year old entertainment investment firm that has financed several entertainment related ventures including recording studios, Indie films and other entertainment related productions.

Several artists previously signed to PAUSE Records will now be signed to ESE,Incs new record label, Volume Recording, LLC. The artists include, Concepta Chetty, Apolonia Mack, Nathalie Hayon and Weili Lin. Volume Recording, which was formed in June 2002, has recently signed several other new acts to the label and will begin heavily releasing product in late-January 2003. Negotiations between ESE, Inc. and PAUSE began in mid-August 2002 and were concluded after securing several new artists to the label. ESE, Inc. has also acquire the Munchy Music Publishing catalog from PAUSE Entertainment which includes over 2 dozen songs, several of which will be remixed and re-released on Volume Recording. New mid-town offices for Volume Recording are scheduled to open after the New Years Holiday and will include in-house recording and rehearsal studios, a video production and editing suite as well as general office space. The new Volume Recording website opens in late November and will be designed by PAUSE Entertainment. Volume Recording, LLC will be the first company that ESE, Inc. fully owns so it will receive enormous attention and support. PAUSE will work closely with Volume Recording and will be involved in promotion and marketing of the artists, as well as music video production. PAUSE will also handle much of the merchandising for Volume Recording.

PAUSE's in-house production company, The Hype Factory will continue to be a part of PAUSE Entertainment and will produce tracks for several of the artist signed to Volume Recording as well as music tracks for PAUSE for the purposes of international licensing, soundtracks and for promotional purposes. There are no plans to sign any additional acts to PAUSE Records.

The Concepta Chetty single, What You Do To Me" (www.conceptachetty.com )which is already in the promotional stages of its release is being remixed and repackaged under the Volume Recording logo and will be re-released immediately. Conceptas music video has also been re-edited and is now in regular rotation on PAUSE-TV. It is scheduled to be shipped to Launch.com and MP4.com once the Volume Recording credits have been added.

This is an exciting opportunity for all as Volume Recording will be able to embed itself quickly into the recording industry due to its large roster of artists which may exceed 15 by late-January 2003. Volume will also benefit by having the seasoned, corporate backing of ESE, Inc. The management team for Volume Recording, LLC is currently being put together and will be announced to the industry after the New Years Holiday. An interim team is already in place and will conduct staff hiring over the next several weeks.

The PAUSE Entertainment office has officially closed for the traditional music industry "holiday break" and will re-open in a new location in mid-January, 2003.
