Commercial Finance Online announces webcasts of business presentations on CFOL.COM. Wall St comes to an Oregon Village.
CEO of CFOL.COM announces the addition of TELLVISION - allowing streaming video of company presentations over the site. "It costs a fortune to raise money... " says Brown, "mainly in travel and time roaming around the world going from bank to bank". " We circumvent that by webcasting the leaders of a company talking about their opportunities and possibilities. It is a small revolution in the financial business," says Brown.
The world is a sphere. Anywhere can be the center point of a sphere," says CFOL.COMs new CEO Colin Brown. With the advent of telecommunications, Brown says the world irrevocably changed. He is the CEO of CFOL.COM a leading business finance website now streaming out of Oregon, where Brown lives in Aurora, a quaint village of 600 souls.
Today Brown announced the addition of TELLVISION - allowing streaming of company presentations over the site. "It costs a fortune to raise money... " says Brown, "mainly in travel and time roaming around the world going from bank to bank". " We circumvent that by showing the leaders of a company talking about their opportunities and possibilities. It is a small revolution in business," says Brown.
CFOL.COM was purchased by TrinityMountain LLC in September 2001. T hasn't been easy dealing with a crumbling stock market and a general decline in confidence says Brown.
"When CFOL.Com was created to link businesses seeking capital with capital providers six years ago, the era of dot coms was seen as a new gold rush," says Brown. "But it wasnt..." says Brown," But it was the harbinger of a new globalism that inherently will level the earths playing fields and bring availability of resources to everyone.
When I saw that the City of New York now farms out its processing of parking tickets to a village in Africa I could see the future," says Brown. It is inexpensive and it is devastatingly fair."
CFOL.COM aims to link companies and providers on a global basis. We dont make money from the deals that are created -- we simply have a membership approach that costs $25 for a company seeking capital and $999 for a yearly membership for our finance providers. Charging in this way is fair, it screens out the looky-loos." CFOL uses Bank of America for processing credit card transactions.
Browns tenure is overseeing introduction of a business credentialing service that will score the capability of a client in an objective way. Financiers need to have a more accurate way of measuring a projects chances for success. We intend to provide that for them," says Brown. Brown is also introducing an on-line store for the sale of financial products. Our investors need to see the maximum number of profit centers come to pass," says Brown.
Although we are based in a village in Oregon, we still obey the economics of Wall Street," says Brown.
