Cuban exiles embrace freedom and find voice at Broward County Library

Cuban, That's All!, the recent series of monologues published by Writers Club Press, written by Juan Gerardo Hernandez will be presented live at the Broward County Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines on November 16, 2002 at 2:00 pm.
The 90 minute performance consists of four actors (one is the author) interpreting 20+ monologues detailing the experiences of Cuban exiles from 1959 post revolution Cuba to present day.
In the cast are: Marta Davis, Gregg Davis, Yvonne Hernandez and Juan Hernandez, author of Cuban, That's All!
The 37 year old Hernandez arrived from Cuba when he was fifteen days old, a story he recounts in one of the more poignant monologues, Shoebox Child.
After the performance, the author, with time permitting, will sign books for the audience and along with the cast participate in a question and answer session.
Cuban, That's All was first presented on September 21, 2002 with a cast of five including the aforementioned players as well as Armando Garica in the role of Luisito Dolor.
