DONATED SPA MAKES BOY'S WISH COME TRUE

Sacramento, CA, - "David," a nine-year old boy suffering from Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, will soon get some therapeutic relief and a dream fulfilled, thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation and local spa dealer Petkus Brothers.
David's condition causes progressive muscle atrophy and loss of body strength. At nine years old, he is currently under average recommended weight but is expected to continue to gain weight, while his mobility decreases. Immersion in warm, bubbly water helps to relieve the stress on David's muscles and joints. The spa cover provides shade from the blazing summer sun and will enable him to use the spa during the rainy winter months as well.
His parents took his request to the local Make-A-Wish office, which in turn contacted Petkus Brothers. Said Kevin Petkus president, "Make-A-Wish is a tremendous program, and the alliance they have nationally with Marquis Spas has helped sufferers of disabilities that could otherwise not experience the benefits of a spa. Petkus Brothers of Sacramento installed a Marquis spa and spa cover at the boy's home. A number of other local businesses participated in making the wish come true including TWC Enterprises, Livingston Concrete, Home Depot-Antelope, Chevreaux Aggregate and Aids for Daily Living.
