EXTREME Ski Season Lodging Deals Announced

Taos, New Mexico, November 12, 2002. Best Value Indian Hills Inn - Taos Plaza announced several radical downtown Taos lodging specials for the 2002 - 2003 ski season. The specials amount to a 50% reduction for most Guests and apply to skiers, art buyers, sight seers, and business travelers. They are especially appropriate since Taos Ski Valley announced they are opening early on November 23, 2002.

The first special applies until December 19, 2002 and offers 3 nights in a standard room for $99 for 1 or 2 guests. Also available are deluxe single king bed rooms for only $114 for the 3 nights. Additional nights are available at the same rate. John Slenes, GM, said "At $33 a night, these rates are less than half the Taos overall average room rate."

The second special is the lowest room rate offered in the Taos Ski Valley Half Off special. Our early December scheduled rates were $49. The ski valley wanted half off. We obliged at $24.50 for 1 or 2 Guests in a standard room. A deluxe for $29 is also available. That special is applicable December 1 thru December 13, 2002.

Half off lift tickets are also available at Taos Ski Valley for the same dates. Adults ski for an unusually low price of $16 a day. That lift ticket and lodging special is one of the best offered at any ski area. That's an EXTREME lodging and lift ticket deal in most folk's mind.

The third special offers advance purchase of rooms in blocks of ten (10) nights. For a limited time, we'll sell rooms for under $30 a night, in a ski area, during the ski season. "Considering the fact that room rates are usually higher during the ski season, we're trying something really radical with these unheard of rates," said Mr. Slenes.

Most industry experts are suggesting that rates be kept as high as possible in spite of somewhat slow tourist traffic.
