Wichita, Kansas- More than a week after the election Phil Kline, (R) was declared the winner in the hotly contested race for Attorney General. With 79 percent of the ballots in and over 800,000 ballots cast, Klines victory totaled little more than 4,000 votes. But that was enough to win.
Kline, an abortion opponent, has promised to closely enforce the state's abortion laws. He also promised to fulfill a resolution passed by the state House of Representatives earlier this year to seek a court order declaring that life begins at conception. If he succeeds, that could lead to a federal court challenge of the landmark abortion ruling Roe v. Wade."

Klines victory clearly had an effect on the notorious Wichita abortionist, George Tiller, according to Troy Newman, director of Operation Rescue West. Apparently," Newman said, Tiller called in sick today. His busiest abortion day of the week turned into a closed clinic. Kline is already saving babies from abortionist hands." Newman said of the Tillers Womans Health Care Services located at 5101 East Kellogg.
During the campaign, Phil Kline promised to prosecute Tiller and send him packing. Clearly just the news of Klines victory has shaken the foundations of the Kansas abortion empire," added Newman.
