APPLIED GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES TO DEMONSTRATE VCAS.NET AND THE TANDBERG DIRECTOR AT UPCOMING TRADE SHOW IN ORLANDO
US Navys Distance Learning Operation with AGT and the Tandberg Director to be highlighted
Rockledge, FL -- November 14, 2002- Applied Global Technologies, an emerging leader in collaboration and conferencing solutions, will participate in the 2002 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando. The four-day conference and expo will take place at the Orange County Convention Center beginning December 2, 2002.
Applied Global is assisting the Navy in its rollout of the Tandberg Director as part of its sophisticated rich media distance-learning program. The Navys Chief of Naval Education and Training (CNET) command is responsible for training a daily average of 47,000 officers, enlisted and civilian government employees around the globe in more than 3,600 courses. The US Navy estimates that it has saved $34 million as a result of its video teletraining program.

The annual trade show will focus on The Power of Simulation" as a training tool for armed forces. The event is sponsored by the National Training Systems Association and hosted by the United States Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM).
