Fans and Friends of R&B Soul Legend, Chaka Khan, come together to reach for the 'Stars'

Friends and Fans of Soul Legend, Chaka Khan, are asking for your help in getting her a Star on The 'Hollywood Walk Of Fame.'

For the last 30 years, the artistry of Chaka Khan has exposed us to some of the finest music the entertainment industry has ever known or had to offer. From "You Got The Love ; gimme the strength" right down to "If you didn't love me ; It would be the drama of all time", Chaka's music has guided, comforted and lifted us on many occasions. We're sure we all agree there is no other experience like the Chaka Khan experience whether you're at a Chaka concert or listening to one of her albums. Clearly, there is no other artist like "our" Chaka Khan, no other entertainer even comes close to the vocalese of Chaka Khan.

To show our appreciation for Chaka Khan's contribution to the world of entertainment and the total entertainment experience, we have initiated the process to get Ms. Khan nominated for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, "the world's most prestigious sidewalk". Because it recognizes a life-long contribution of both public and peer appreciation, it is an honor uniquely in a class by itself. Also, is an honor Chaka richly deserves and one that is long overdue. While signatures are not required to nominate an artist, letters of support from Chaka's "friends" would strongly encourage the Walk of Fame Committee to seriously consider approving Chaka's nomination in the June 2003 voting session.
