THUNDER AVIATION APPOINTS RON SCHEER DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Ron Scheer has been appointed director of operations for Thunder Aviation NA, Inc. Scheer has over 25 years experience in the aviation industry, including expertise in program management and all aspects of airframe, engine, and avionics maintenance and repair.

ST. LOUIS, October 31, 2002 – Ron Scheer has been appointed director of operations for Thunder Aviation NA, Inc. The announcement was made by Jerry L. Leath, president and chief operating officer.

Scheer has over 25 years experience in the aviation industry, including expertise in program management and all aspects of airframe, engine, and avionics maintenance and repair; all of which will be utilized in his new role at Thunder Aviation.

Scheer joined Thunder Aviation in February 2002 as Director of Maintenance. He has also held positions with K.C. Aviation, Dassault Falcon Jet, and Fortune 500 corporate flight departments. He holds an airframe powerplant license, a private pilots license, and served in the U.S. Air Force.

In his new position, Scheer will be responsible for the operations of all aircraft maintenance services, including Charter maintenance and purchasing.
Based at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo., Thunder Aviation is a full service fixed base operator (FBO) offering an extensive maintenance and avionics program, ranging from major inspections and heavy maintenance to prepurchase evaluations and powerplant HSI and inspections. In addition, Thunder Aviation also provides charter services, and corporate aircraft management. With more than 100,000 square feet of hangar space, Thunder Aviation services aircraft of all sizes, ranging from single engine piston to large multi-engine turbine powered aircraft.
