FrogPadä Leaps Into the Global Market with New Standard for One-Handed Keyboards

FrogPad Keyboard Offers Full Functionality and Ease of Use With Only 20 Keys, Making FrogPad the Keyboard of Choice for Tablet PCs

Houston, TX - FrogPad Inc., the innovator in data entry for mobile and communication devices announced today that it will be showcasing its keyboards during the COMDEX show in Las Vegas, November 17 -- 20, 2002. The FrogPadä keyboards patented technology offers one-handed data entry for any tablet PC and virtually any mobile device. Unlike the various other wireless data entry methods such as folding keyboards, miniature Qwerty keypads, electronic ink and voice-recognition that clutter the desktop and both hands, FrogPad is the only one handed fully functional keypad, truly making it the contender for setting a new keyboard standard for tablet PCs.

Among FrogPads products featured during COMDEX will be a keyboard for hand-held devices designed by award winning industrial design agency IDEO. President Linda Marroquin will be featured on a panel discussion on Monday, November 18th, during COMDEX entitled Mobile Communicators: The Next Generation.

The drive for miniaturization, as well as the need for an effective and simple mobile data entry device, make the FrogPad a true frontrunner in the race to develop a new standard for global keyboards," states Tim Scannell, President and Chief Analyst at Shoreline Research. The technology format is ideal for Web-enabled wireless phones, handheld computers, and the rapidly evolving segment of tablet PCs."

FrogPads patented data entry technology, keyboard layout and algorithms will be licensed to wireless service providers and manufacturers through a unique multi-phase pilot, integration and deployment process. Kaizen FrogPad, licensee, has manufactured FrogPad keyboards which will be sold through a variety of retail partners and will be offered for evaluation to key industry analysts.

FrogPads patented algorithm and one-handed design make it effective and easy to use in many forms including tablet PCs, mobile and gaming-enabled devices," states Linda Marroquin, FrogPads CEO and President. We offer that FrogPad is the major user-interface breakthrough, and the best solution for the tablet PC market."

FrogPad products will be on display during COMDEX in its hospitality suite in the Marriott Residence Inn Las Vegas, right across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center. For more information, contact Tracy Rummel at 713.294.9888.
