Australian software developer SigPoint Pty Ltd has been announced the winner of the coveted Asia Pacific ICT Award for the Best Business Application in 2002.
Brisbane, Queensland Australia -- November 5th, 2002 -- Australian software developer SigPoint Pty Ltd has been announced the winner of the coveted Asia Pacific ICT Award for the Best Business Application in 2002. The accolade was presented to SigPoint at a gala awards event held recently at Jupiter's Casino, Gold Coast Australia.
The Asia Pacific ICT Awards are sponsored by some of the biggest names in technology including Sun Microsystems, Optus, Oracle and Microsoft.
One of 21 categories, the Business Application award was presented to SigPoint in recognition of its software application SigPoint NDT v2.0. The product was selected as the most innovative new ICT solution that significantly improves any Business sector's operations or competitiveness.
SigPoint will receive complimentary airfares and accommodation in order to compete for the International title at the host city of the Asia-Pacific International ICT Awards to be held in September 2003. The company also received, amongst other prizes, complimentary participation in the International Asia-Pacific ICT Awards Business Matching Program.
